Management Group (SMG) is an all professional real-estate development, management,
and investment company formed in 1990 by Stephen
B. McGarvey, Chairmen and CEO. SMG is headquartered in Erie, PA at Lovell
Place with additional offices in Buffalo, New York.
Stephen McGarvey is the driving forced behind the company’s philosophy of purchasing and renovating vacated large scale urban properties, many of which were former factories turning them in 24 hour, 7 day a week redeveloped environments and in many cases putting them back on the tax rolls.
Signature Management Group is one of the largerest taxpayers in Erie, owns half a dozen blocks in downtown Erie, known as Mid-town, most of which are developed and producing, with the balance being earmarked for mixed-use renovations.
